HUNTSVILLE, Texas -- Insisting he was innocent, condemned inmate Derrick Frazier was executed Thursday evening for the slayings of a South Texas mother and her teenage son at their home nine years ago.

"I am innocent. An innocent man is being put to death. I've professed my innocence for nine years and I will continue to profess my innocence for another nine years," Frazier said.......

GREETINGS EVERYONE!

I often try my best to be as open as possible with people. I have come to realize that sometimes that hurts and sometimes it helps. I must come to realize that all things will never be good for us all.

I am, to the government, Derrick Frazier #999284.To my closest friends, I am Hasan which is my name. I would like to welcome you to this site in hopes that you find it entertaining. Please allow me to tell you a bit about myself.

My name in which I am accustomed to answering to is Hassan al-Shakur. I am a prisoner on Texas infamous Death Row. I have been imprisoned since 1997. Being incarcerated is really the wrong word to call it. I will just, call it what it is; this is a waiting room -where the people in it are waiting to be killed and slaughtered. But I am rushing to get out of this waiting room alive!

I am 27 years of age (almost) born on April the 28th, 1977 in Dallas, Texas.To this very day, I have faced so many adversities; one wonders how I am still living. It seems though that living is just, a big adversity. Though I am trapped within this waiting room, I am very concious of my situation. I wish to persue any and all avenues that would aid me in my given situation.

As a person, I am the father of De'von G. Frazier the love of my life. I am the baby brother of Cassundra L . Frazier. I am the grandson of Louise Provost and I am the nephew of Barbara Wright-Boyle. I am the founder of Operation L.I.F.E. (Love, Inspiration, Freedom, and Equality) which is a publication aimed at giving prisoners a forum to speak and be heard. I am currently writing a book that, will give further light to the world on what really goes on inside the prison complex named death row without the sugar coating it gets most of the time.

I am a member of an organization called Human Rights Coalition which is family oriented and prisoner ran. I am the founder of the Texas Chapter of this organization in which I established a newsletter for it as well. I work with getting people their rights back and even though this is very hard to do, I still take this challenge and fight for others as well as for myself. 

I love to read and study. I read mostly non-fiction, biographies,political science and history but I am getting into the fiction as well and I enjoy the writings of Omar Tyree, Marcus Major, Eric Jerom Dickey to name a few. I love to write poetry and music and help people just better themselves all together. 

By giving a piece of myself, I will always live on in the advent of my death. I do not consider myself average. I still have many high expectations and asperations which I must see reached. I would love to have a person that can stimulate my mind and help me overcome the adversity of living with death staring you right in the eyes everyday. Also stimulate my mind on life in general, and I know that I will do the same because even though my body is here, my mind is not here at all!

Ich grüße Euch alle!

Oft versuche ich so offen wie möglich, Menschen gegenüber zu sein. Ich habe bemerkt, dass es manchmal sowohl schmerzt wie hilft. Ich habe festgestellt, dass nicht alles gut ist für jeden von uns.

Ich bin, für die Regierung, Derrick Frazier #999284. Für meine Freunde bin ich Hasan, das ist mein Name. Ich möchte Euch auf dieser Seite willkommen heißen und hoffe, dass Ihr sie unterhaltsam findet. Bitte erlaubt mir, Euch ein wenig über mich zu erzählen.

Mein Name, auf den ich gewohnt bin zu hören, ist Hassan al-Shakur. Ich bin Insasse des berühmten, texanischen Todestrakts. Ich bin seit 1997 eingesperrt. Eingesperrt ist das falsche Wort dafür. Ich werde es das nennen, was es ist; dies ist ein Wartezimmer, wo Menschen darin darauf warten, umgebracht und geschlachtet zu werden. Aber ich beeile mich, um aus diesem Wartezimmer lebend heraus zu kommen!

Ich bin fast 27 Jahre alt (fast) und wurde am 28. April 1977 in Dallas Texas geboren. Bis zum heutigen Tag habe ich so viele Missgeschicke erlebt, dass es seltsam erscheint, dass ich immer noch am Leben bin. Daher scheint es, als ob das Leben selbst ein großes Missgeschick ist. Obwohl ich in diesem Wartezimmer gefangen bin, bin ich mir meiner Situation sehr wohl bewusst. Ich wünsche alle und jede Straße entlangzugehen, die mir in meiner gegebenen Situation Unterstützung enen Situation Unterstützung bietet.

Als eine Person bin ich ein Vater von De’von G. Frazier, die Liebe meines Lebens. Ich bin der kleine Bruder von Cassundra L. Frazier. Ich bin der Enkelsohn von Louise Provost und auch der Neffe von Barbara Wright-Boyle. Ich bin der Gründer der Operation L.I.F.E. (Love, Inspiration, Freiheit und Gleichheit) was eine Publikation ist, die an die Häftlinge gerichtet ist, um ihnen eine Plattform zu geben, in der siesprechen und gehört werden können. Momentan schreibe ich ein Buch, das Aufschluss darüber geben soll, was innerhalb dieses Gefängniskomplexes vorgeht, der Todestrakt genannt wird – ohne den Zuckerguss, den er meistens erhält.

Ich bin Mitglied einer Organisation die sich Menschenrechtskoalition nennt, familienorientiert  ist und von Häftlingen geleitet ist. Ich bin der Gründer des Texas-Kapitels der Organisation in der ich ebenso ein Mitteilungsblatt herausbrachte. Ich arbeite daran, den Menschen ihre Rechte zurückzugeben, und obwohl das sehr schwer ist, stelle ich mich der Herausforderung und kämpfe für die Rechte anderer als auch für meine eigenen.

Ich liebe es zu lesen und zu lernen. Ich lese hauptsächlich Sachbücher, Biografien, politische Wissenschaften und Geschichtsbücher, aber auch Romane. Ich lese gerne Bücher von Omar Tyree, Marcus Major, Eric Jerom Dickey, um ein paar zu nennen. Ich liebe es, Gedichte und Musik zu schreiben und helfe Menschen dabei, sich einfach selbst zu bessern.

Wenn ich dabei ein Stück von mir gebe, werde ich immer nach meinem Tode weiterleben. Ich denke nicht, dass ich gewöhnlich bin. Ich habe immer noch hohe Erwartungen und Ansprüche, die ich erreichen möchte. Ich hätte sehr gerne einen Menschen, der meine Gedanken anregt und mir dabei hilft, das Elend zu ertragen, wenn der Tod täglich ins Auge blickt. Auch meine Gedanken generell anregt, denn ich weiß, ich werde im Gegenzug das gleiche tun, denn obwohl mein Körper hier ist, sind es meine Gedanken überhaupt nicht!

Ich würde Ihre Hilfe auf dieser furchtbaren Reise sehr schätzen. Ich möchte, dass Sie wissen – ich bin nicht arrogant, und mein Herz ist für jeden, der antwortet, offen. Vielen Dank für Ihr Verständnis und Ihre Zeit.

Greetings to you all!

            Well, most of you already know me. I am the founder and editor of Operation L.I.F.E. and don’t worry, I still am, and that will be out more than likely right after this! I like to introduce to you Human Rights Coalition, the newsletter! It is deeply informative and a no holds barred newsletter that give you the real insight into what really goes on down here. Nothing sugar coated at all. If any of you know me, you know I will not sugar coat this situation for it isn’t meant to be. I also wanted something that goes beyond just death row and so here I am with something that I hope will reach the world!

            You will find in here an in-depth interview with a death row prisoner by the name of Joseph Nicholes-Bey. He was so kind enough to bless us with his presence and left me some diamonds. So I have crushed them and passed them out in hopes you will soak them in and pass them on to others because what this man is speaking on is really some deep intellectual things in which the “animals” of death row should not even be doing! You will find the plight of Sis. Donetta Hill which is yet another victim of the Just-us system of America. Please pay attention to her plight and I pray that you can help yer. You will find some poetry from me and from Todd Willingham who has an execution date coming up soon, so he wanted to leave a legacy and something for the world to think about. You will see a message from the HRC International Facilitator, as well for Human Rights Coalition is an Organization as well! You will see an informational piece on a new organization called Vision for L.I.F.E., that can be a very great and momentous stride for solving all problems on an open front and bring the anti-death penalty movement full circle. You will find some pieces from my friend Lee in Detroit. To put in a nutshell, you will find a little bit of everything in this first edition of Human Rights Coalition the newsletter! I really hope that you enjoy!

            As a state above this is also an organization with Chapters in Pennsylvania and Texas. This organization that is in place to fight the entire system for if we rid it off the death penalty, the gov. will find yet another way to sentence us to death by given out extensive sentences that we know people cannot do!             I am still the editor of Operation L.I.F.E. and that should be flying to you soon! I am also working on a book that will be in English and Italian, and I am looking to have it completed by May and able for you to have in front of you reading. It will be in my truest form giving you gripping truth about the system and the everyday grind of fighting a gaugernaut and at the same time being fought back at by this gaugernaut as well as the people that are oppressed by it. I must say that this book has been therapeutic and I will be writing more because I have four more to do after that! This is only the beginning people! I am one person and I can only do so much but I will push myself to do more. I need your help and I need your collective efforts to bring this full circle into something that can be a force to be reckoned with

Also, die meisten von Ihnen kennen mich bereits. Ich bin der Gründer und Herausgeber der Operation L.I.F.E. , und macht Euch keine Sorgen, ich bin es immer noch, und das wird gleich nachdem ich es geschrieben habe, rausgehen! Ich möchte Ihnen das Mitteilungsblatt “Menschenrechts-Koalition” vorstellen! Es ist äußerst informativ und ein Blatt, das nichts zurückhält und Ihnen ein wahres Bild darüber gibt, was wirklich hier drin vorgeht. Nichts wird beschönigt. Wenn manche von Ihnen mich kennen, werden Sie wissen, dass ich nichts beschönige, denn das ist nicht richtig. Auch wollte ich etwas, das tiefer geht als den Todestrakt und daher bin ich wieder hier mit etwas, wovon ich hoffe, dass es die Welt erreicht!

Sie werden hier ein tiefgründiges Interview mit einem Todestrakthäftling namens Joseph Nicholes-Bey lesen. Er war so nett, und mit seiner Gegenwart zu segnen und hat mir ein paar Diamanten hinterlassen. Also habe ich sie zertrümmert um sie weiterzureichen in der Hoffnung, dass Ihr sie aufnehmt und an andere weiterreicht, denn was der Mann zu sagen hat ist sehr intelektuell und hat in diesem tierischen Todestrakt überhaupt nichts zu suchen! Sie werden die Notlage von Schwester Donetta Hill erkennen, die ebenfalls ein Opfer des „Nur-Wir-Systems von Amerika“ ist. Bitte gebt Ihrer Notlage Eure Aufmerksamkeit und ich bete, dass Ihr ihr helfen könnt. Ihr werden Gedichte von mir und Todd Willingham vorfinden, der in kurzer Zeit einen Hinrichtungstermin hat, und deshalb der Welt ein Vermächtnis hinterlassen möchte, über das die Welt nachdenkt. Ihr werdet eine Mitteilung von HRC International Facilitator vorfinden, die ebenfalls eine Menschenrechtskoalition ist! Auch werden Sie Informationen einer neuen Organisation, der Vision for L.I.F.E. , die mit großen Schritten mithilft, die Probleme offen in der „Gegen die Todesstrafe“ Bewegung mithilft. Ihr werden ein Stück von meinem Freund Lee in Detroit vorfinden. Um es kurz zu machen, Sie werden ein bisschen von allem in dieser ersten Ausgabe von „Menschenrechts Koalition“ – Mitteilungsblatt finden! Ich hoffe wirklich, dass es Ihnen gefällt!

Also müssen wir das System an allen Fronten angreifen! Wenn Sie Übersee leben, können Sie eine Organisation gründen mit mir hier in Texas und Frau Vickers in Pennsylvania! Aber kontaktieren Sie uns, damit wir Ihnen den richtigen Weg weisen können, oder aber Sie schließen sich einfach an und helfen!

Ich bin immer noch der Herausgeber von L.I.F.E. und das sollte Sie bald erreichen! Ich arbeite auch an einem Buch, das in Englisch als auch Italienisch herausgegeben wird. Auch bemühe ich mich, es bis Mai fertig zu stellen, damit Sie es lesen können. Es wird in meiner ehrlichen Art geschrieben sein und dir greifbare Wahrheiten über das System und die alltägliche Schinderei, einen Götzen zu bekämpfen und gleichzeitig von dem Götzen und Menschen bekämpft zu werden, die von ihm besessen sind. Ich muss sagen, dass das Buch therapeutische Wirkung hatte und ich werde mehr schreiben, denn ich muss noch vier weitere nach dem ersten schreiben! Dies ist erst der Anfang Leute! Ich bin nur ein Mensch und kann nur so viel tun, aber ich werde alles geben, um mehr zu tun. Ich brauche Ihre Hilfe und die gemeinsame Anstrengung, um alles auf einen Weg zu bringen, mit dem man rechnen muss.
