Open Letter

I am Derrick Johnson; writing from Death row in Texas and this is an open letter. 

Every decision in 2004 depends on my life; this is a conclusive fact. Therefore I intend to be industrious in all approaches. 

This is the challenging riddle: I strife to comprehend the mind of the people who write me to the extent of our communication and even offer a bit of advice -- rather it’s instructions to curb ignorance or to improve the wise -- when I sense the aspiration are honestly and sincerely sought. I try to understand their disposition in the matter of philosophies and lower truths and even patiently and calmly listen to all commentary. This is generally speaking. I feel though that people don't try to understand the cardinal points of my position. Many have said the way I write is subtle. I thought I express myself well, but I can step outside myself to bare witness to others observations.  

It must be established that I guard against burdening and making my affairs (the unpleasant life of Death row) apart of others lives. This is acute oppression. I witness treacherous things. I learned a long time ago while studying psychology a principle: That that which the mind concentrates upon, becomes a part of the individual. I strife to keep my thoughts lofty. Therefore nothing around here disturbs me unless I concentrate on it.  

The root of the matter is that people forget I am on Death row. It seems as if that’s understood to be the final judgement that I will die and I’m just living until I reach that stage. I am ever alive and preparing at all times, always striving to distinguish myself and learning how to be prepared to teach how to learn.  

I would hope that individuals would aspire to aid me if it’s of no inconvenience. Many explain that they have no clue of what it is that they can do basically If one is only willing we will accomplish what we will. I feel it is always to reduce the obstacles of great works, but not work itself. If there be a steadfast and intelligent thinking basic.  

I am living a struggle and revolution now, and the time has come when the house has been put in order and I hope upon this invitation that exterior beauty doesn’t flatter the sight of my guess.

Offener Brief

Ich bin Derrick Johnson, schreibe aus dem Todestrakt in Texas und es ist ein offener Brief.

Jede Diskussion im Jahr 2004 hängt von meinem Leben ab; das steht fest. Folglich beabsichtige ich, in allen Annäherungen fleißig zu sein. 

Dies ist eine Herausforderung. Ich bemühe mich, Gedanken von den Menschen zu verstehen, die mir schreiben, per Brief mit mir kommunizieren, Ratschläge die sie geben -- besser gesagt Befehle bis ambitionierte Ignoranz erteilen um Weisheit zu steigern - und ich stelle mir vor, dass die Versuche offen und ehrlich gemeint sind. Ich versuche ihre Veranlagung zur Philosophie und kleinen Wahrheiten zu verstehen und höre mir auch gelassen und geduldig alle Kommentare an. Das sage ich ganz allgemein. Ich spüre jedoch, dass die Menschen das Wichtigste an meinem Standpunkt nicht versuchen zu verstehen. Viele sagen dass die Art, wie ich schreibe um mich auszudrücken, subtil ist. Ich dachte ich ich erkläre mich selbst, aber ich kann auch neben mir stehen um andere Ansichten zu sehen und zu erkennen. 

Es muss begründet sein, dass ich mich in Acht nehme vor Unterdrückung und betreffend meiner Angelegenheiten (macht das unangenehme Leben in der Todeszelle) getrennt von anderen Leben. Das ist aktive Unterdrückung. Ich habe verräterische Dinge beobachtet. Vor langer Zeit habe ich während meiner Psychologiestudien eines gelernt: Dinge, mit welchen sich  jemand in Gedanken beschäftigt, werden ein Teil des Individuums. Ich strebe danach, meine Gedanken stolz und erhaben zu halten. Daher stört mich nichts um mich herum, nichts außer wenn ich mich darauf konzentriere.

Aber die Wurzel der Angelegenheit ist, dass Menschen vergessen, dass ich im Todestrakt bin.. Es sieht aus als ob hingenommen wird, dass das bereits das endgültige Urteil ist und ich sterben werde und ich nur noch am Leben bin, bis der Zeitpunkt des Todes kommt. Ich bin sehr lebendig, beschäftige mich mit Weiterbildung, und ich möchte auch lernen, wie ich andere lehren kann. 

Wenn es keine Umstände bereitet, wünsche ich mir, dass andere mich darin unterstützen. Viele sagen, dass sie keine Vorstellung haben, wie sie grundsätzlich helfen können. Wenn  jemand  nur den Willen zeigt, werden wir erreichen, was wir erreichen wollen. Ich denke es gibt immer Wege, Hindernisse mit großartiger Arbeit aus dem Weg zu räumen und es ist nicht die Arbeit an sich, wenn eine zuverlässige und intelligente Basis vorhanden ist.

Ich erlebe jetzt einen Kampf und eine Revolution und die Zeit ist gekommen, dass das Ganze als Auftrag eingesetzt worden ist und ich auf diese Einladung hoffe, dass Schönheit von Außen, meiner Vermutung nicht nur geringfügig schmeichelt.

JUDGEMENT AND THE DEATH PENALTY

I have been on deathrow for nearly six years by the judgment of a people. The death penalty is like fire in the hands of a child when its uses is out of madness and not intelligence. There are burns that mark those who have not understand this tool in the cooking of the recipe of defending society. But how can you intelligently kill the image and likeness of God? The passion to kill is undifferent: ated then. If one man says: "I killed because I love." and another says: " I killed because I was a fool. " Is not the man of love more foolish?

When the affairs of others are being judged by those without the qualities of which makes one good in their judgment, then there is order being brought to faulty judgment.

So the administration of the law, the teaching of the people, the choosing of jurors, and  the nature and extent of punishment are called into question. Because the administration of the law is about leaders, their ability to serve, their ability to introduct, and their ability to balance the law fairly.

Because the people - who are called to help in the administration of the law - are thus put into positions of judgment over the affairs of other humans, leaders must teach the people. But that is not what is going on here. 

When you pick up information about Death Row, somehow the script that has been written is titled "Terrible Monsters."  Your elected officals highlight the motto that the Death Penalty is for the "worst of the worst", and that it is a "deterrent to violent crime." Well how can a man nicknamed "The Green River Killer" by the media, kill 48 people and not receive the death penalty when he has been described as the most notorious serial killer in modern history? There are many people in prison population and not on death row, whose crimes are equally and worst than half or more of the deathrow population.

So that  means that there is deliberate distortion about the usage and value of the death penalty, and that there are deliberate choises being made within the elements of power. Because if you study the crime rate, violent crime is being maintained and some crimes are increasing. So what is this deliberate distortion and choises about? Politics. And the politican process is always about moving things around to maintain and progress self interest and personal advantage to keep tutelage, power and governance in your favor. When politics and the decision to kill a human being are mixed, this is a course of action for slaughter. Because the life of the human is against political gain and celebrity.

So before a man is even tried in court, things have been rearranged and the moving around of things is still going on. The U.S. constitution established in the 14teenth amendment - and the law of the state where my trial took place, in article 1, section 19 of its constitution - an equal protection clause. So when every member of my juror is causasian and I don't reflect that cross section, if leaders have taught the people, they should immediately wonder about this selection. Yet those who served as jurors in my trial failed to see any improper arrangements. But what if these jurors knew that the supreme court of the United States of America ruled in 2005 that Dallas, a city where I was tried, "systemically kept blacks from serving as jurors,"  and discovered a history of this type of discrimination that sretched though decades.

Now, if I am "systemically keeping blacks from serving as jurors," then I am convinced that the mind set of the people I select to serve is set in a certain way.

In 2004 of Aug., a lady name Laury Robertson who served as a juror on the case of James Allridge, told the Houston cronicle newspaper that she "regretted, almost immediately, her decision" at his 1987 trail to side with the other juros in founding that James Allridge represented a continuing treat to society."

If leaders are teaching the people, then what does this next statement by Ms. Robertson tell us about the people who we look at as leaders, and the people they teach: "I thought I had to go along with the group. I was young." That is ordered ignorance. That is a failing mark about the quality of the teaching.

A former lawyer of mine, Mr. Lawerence Brown said: "I have never seen a case of this magnitude handled like this."My case was a high profile" case, meaning it had media attention. But my trial lasted for approximatily one week. My present lawyer Bruce Anton confirmed that of what Mr. Brown stated. Any man learned in the law can tell you that no case of this statis should have been handled in such a way. 

A wise man once said, "To be made judge of the human conditionis one of the greatest honors that can be      bestowed on a person. But when you are made a judge, you are in greater position to come under the judgment of God." He further expresses: "So when God says, 'Judge not lest you be in danger of judgment,' we ought to speak less and think more, and desire to know as much as we can about the circumstances, the event, or person, before we open our mouths to make a judgment.

This deeper than what a man's hands can dig. This is deeper than what sounds a man can make by moving his mouth. We are not deep enough with sound in our creation of judgment over human affairs or in the persevation of the human spirit to show it its perfected selfhood and bring it there.

So I say to all of you, those of you who feel confortable in your judgment about the death penalty, but without the understanding, and those who think their judgment was correct. Don't hide my execution like those of the hundreds who have been killed in the dark. "The one whom they sought to condemn will live." Kill me before the people - these are the words of the Don Killuminati.

URTEIL UND DIE TODESSTRAFE

Ich bin seit fast 6 Jahren im Todestrakt wegen der Beurteilung von Menschen. Die Todesstrafe ist wie Feuer in den Händen eines Kindes wenn es willkürlich und ohne Intelligenz eingesetzt wird. Bei denen, die die Anwendung dieser Zutat in einem Kochrezept zum Schutz der Gesellschaft nicht richtig beherrschen, hinterlässt es Brandwunden. Aber wie kann man das Image und die Liebe Gottes intelligent töten? Die Hingabe zum Töten ist nicht unterschiedlich zu bewerten. Wenn einer sagt: „ich töte dich, weil ich dich liebe“ und ein anderer sagt: „ich habe getötet, weil ich töricht war“, ist dann nicht der, welcher aus Liebe tötet, törichter?

Wenn die Angelegenheiten von Menschen von denen ohne jegliche Qualifikation entschieden werden, um damit ein gutes Urteil zu finden, dann ist es vorprogrammiert, dass ein fehlerhaftes Urteil dabei herauskommt.

Die Rechtsverwaltung, die Unterrichtung der Menschen, die Auswahl der Geschworenen und die Natur und Ausführung der Strafen müssen hinterfragt werden. Denn die Rechtsverwaltung handelt von Führungspersonen, ihre Fähigkeit zu dienen, ihrer Fähigkeit zu instruieren und ihrer Fähigkeit, das Recht fair anzuwenden.

Denn weil die Menschen, die berufen sind, um der Rechtsverwaltung beizustehen, auch in die Position gesteckt werden, um über die Angelegenheiten von anderen zu entscheiden, müssen die Führungspersonen diese Leute unterrichten. Aber das geschieht hier nicht.

Wenn Sie Informationen über den Todestrakt bekommen, so lautet die Überschrift des Drehbuchs „Schreckliche Monster“.  Die von Ihnen gewählten Beamten unterstreichen das Motto so: der Todestrakt ist für die „schlimmsten der Schlimmen“ und das ist ein Abschreckungsmittel gegen Gewaltverbrechen. Aber wie kann ein Mann, der von der Presse „Der grüne Fluss“ Killer genannt wird, 48 Menschen töten und nicht die Todesstrafe erhalten, obwohl er als der notorischte Serienkiller in der modernen Geschichte genannt wurde? Da sind viele im Gefängnis und nicht im Todestrakt, deren Taten schlimmer als derjenigen im Todestrakt sind.

Das bedeutet, dass da offensichtlich ein vorsätzlich verdrehtes Anwenden und Bewertn der Todesstrafe stattfindet, und es wird unterschiedlich Entscheidungen innerhalb der Mächtigen getroffen. Denn wenn Sie die Verbrechensrate ansehen, so stagnieren die Gewaltverbrechen und andere Verbrechen steigen an. Worin liegt also diese offensichtliche Ungleichheit in der Entscheidung? Politik? Und der Fortschritt in der Politik geht immer dahin, dass Dinge bewegt werden, um die Entwicklung der eigenen Interessen und den persönlichen Vorteil zu erhalten und die Leitung, die Macht und die Regierung zu behalten. Wenn Politik und die Entscheidung, einen Menschen zu töten, zusammentreffen, wird es dazu führen, dass ein Blutbad angerichtet wird. Denn mit einem Menschenleben kann keine Zunahme von  politischer Macht erreicht werden. Daher sollten die Dinge reorganisiert werden, bevor ein Mensch verurteilt wird. Die im Amerikanische Verfassung und der 14. Zusatzartikel – und das Gesetz des Staates, wo meine Verhandlung stattfand, beinhaltet der 1. Artikel, Teil 19 der Verfassung eine ähnliche Klausel. Wenn also jeder der Geschworenen ein Weißer ist und ich nicht einer von ihnen bin, so sollten die Führungspersonen denen beigebracht haben, dass das Grund zur Verwunderung ist. Und doch haben die Geschworenen in meiner Verhandlung dieses ungerechte Arrangement nicht bemerkt. Aber wenn diese Geschworenen gewusst hätten, dass der Oberste Gerichtshof der Vereinigten Staaten im Jahr 2005 entschieden hat, dass in Dallas, einer Stadt, in der ich verurteilt wurde, „Schwarze lieber nicht als Geschworene gewählt hat“ und entdeckt hat, dass eine solche Diskriminierung seit Dekaden vorherrscht. 

Nun, wenn ich „systematisch Schwarze davor abhalte, als Geschworene zu fingieren”, dann kann ich davon überzeugt sein, dass die Einstellung der Menschen, die ich ausgewält habe, in bestimmter Weise denken.

Im August 2004 hat eine Frau namens Laury Robertson, die als Geschworene im Fall von James Allridge fungierte, der Zeitung Houston Chronicle gesagt, dass sie „unmittelbar nach ihre Entscheidung bereut hat“ in der Verhandlung 1987, und mit den Anderen entschieden zu haben, dass James Allridge eine Gefahr für die Gesellschaft bleiben wird. 

 Wenn also die Führungspersonen die Menschen unterweisen, was sagt uns dann diese Aussage von Frau Robertson über die Personen aus, die wir als Führungspersonen ansehen, und über die Meschen, die sie unterrichten: “ich dachte, ich müsse das gleiche wie die Gruppe tun. Ich war jung“. Diese Ignoranz wird gewünscht. Ein Zeichen, dass die Qualität der Schulung versagt.

Ein früherer Anwalt von mir, Herr Lawerence Brown, sagte: “Ich habe noch nie einen Fall von solcher Wichtigkeit gesehen, der so verhandelt wurde“. Mein Fall war ein Fall von höchster Wichtigkeit, mit großem Medieninteresse. Aber mein Fall wurde in höchstens einer Woche abgehandelt. Mein jetziger Anwalt, Herr Bruce Anton, bestätigte, was Herr Brown sagte. Jeder, der Jura studiert hat, kann dir sagen, dass ein Fall von solcher Brisanz so nicht verhandelt werden sollte.

Ein weiser Mann sagte einmal: „Ein Anwalt eines Meschen zu sein zeigt, dass Dir große Ehre zu teil wird, aber wenn du ein Richter wirst, bist du in einer  Position, die Gottes Urteil nahe kommt“. Er sagte auch: „Beurteilen Sie nicht aus Furcht dass Sie in der Gefahr des Urteils sind, 'wir sollen weniger sprechen und mehr denken, und dürste so viel Wissen über die Umstände des Falles oder der Person, bevor wir unseren Mund öffnen, um ein Urteil zu sprechen“

Das ist tiefer als das Loch, dass eine menschliche Hand graben kann. Das geht tiefer als der Klang der Stimme, wenn ein Mensch seinen Mund bewegt. Unser Klang der Stimme ist nicht tiefgründig genug, wenn wir ein Urteil bilden über die Angelegenheiten von Menschen oder darin, den menschlichen Geist zu bewahren und zeigen damit, dass es nur perfektionierter Eigenschutz ist, und es auf den Punkt bringen.

Also sage ich Euch allen, diejenigen von Euch, die sich wohl mit der Todesstrafe fühlen, aber ohne Verständnis, und diejenigen, die denken, dass ihr Urteil richtig war: „Verstecken Sie meine Hinrichtung nicht, wie die vielen anderen, die in der Dunkelheit getötet wurden. Diejenigen, die verurteilt werden sollten, werden leben“. Tötet mich in der Öffentlichkeit – das sind die Worte des Don Killuminati.
